Dr. Holly Brand is a professor of psychology at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Missouri. She has a doctoral degree in psychology from Saint Louis University and specializes in the area of child, adolescent, and adult development. She is married to Todd Brand, president of Brand Asset Management Group, an investment-consulting firm. They have two sons, Tanner and Walker, and a daughter, Tori. Together, Todd and Holly teach premarital counseling classes for engaged couples in the community and co-lead Bible study groups on the topics of marriage and parenting. 

In 2000, Holly founded Yellow Umbrella Ministries (YUM), an organization to promote her Christian speaking and writing. Jesus tells us that we are the light of the world and to let that light shine among the darkness.

The Yellow Umbrella is a symbol of the joy of knowing Him. YUM is a ministry about joy—true joy, complete joy, lasting joy—how to find it, share it, and protect it. Holly’s desire is to inspire others to discover their joy, identity, and abundant living through Christ.
